As soon as we got into the Chinese takeaway place I whipped Sparky out and did a quick search. Nothing.
Later on, a man walked in with his daughter -discoverable. I quickly typed up a new contact - "Have a nice meal" and sent it to his T610 as fast as Bluetoothly possible. Upon hearing his phone bleep, I looked at him waiting for him to take his phone out and read his message. Nothing. His daughter then alerted him to his beeping phone, so he took it out of his pocket, read it aloud, walked over to the lady behind the counter and read it to her, retorting - "Hmm, look, I've just accepted one of these expensive messages. I normally don't accept these. Gosh I wonder how much that'll be on my bill. Sigh." obviously thinking that the restaurant had sent it to him and he wanted an explanation. Haha, I'm so evil.
Anyway, he was obviously a little nervous thinking that he had just accepted some very expensive message, so I put his mind at rest with a contact called "It didn't cost anything".
Now that just freaked him out.

My best three most recent bluejacks were the lady in the hotel restaurant last week that I mentioned briefly, and to cut a long story short, she was three feet away on the adjacent table when she received "Enjoy your meal!"
Later I noticed she'd left her broccoli, so I sent, "Eat your greens!" as I was leaving!
Was really proud of my sneaky photo-taking - lying down the phone on its side, angling the camera up slightly, and bam!
Really shows the proximity, methinks!
Secondly, a guy with a T610 in the Harlequin shopping centre - got "I can see you!" to him, and immediately he was on the phone.
Followed him for a bit, and waited until he was off the phone to make sure he would definitely see the next message. Eventually got "I still see you!" to him as well. And he was straight back on the phone. I prepared "Who do you keep phoning?" after thinking "Get off the phone, baldy!" would be a bit harsh!
He was walking all over the place, and eventually headed up the escalator towards the car parks, by which time I thought he was going to leave, so I sent the "Who do you keep phoning?" message, hoping it would give him an extra bit of a fright when he finally hung up... But he was just trying to throw his Bluejacker off! He went all the way up to the top of the escalators, before walking round and heading straight back down again! I thought I should wait a second to make sure he didn't work out it was me, and got what I thought was a fantastic photo!
He stayed on the phone for a while after that, so there wasn't much point sending him any more messages. I followed him for a bit longer when he walked past all the shops again, watching him in the shops' windows' reflections! But then my lunch break was drawing to a close, and he was still on that damn phone. So I left him in peace!
Finally, and briefly, one of the funniest Bluejacks I've ever had, although you'd probably have to have been there! Was queueing to pay in TK Maxx after sending a few "I can see you"s to anyone I found in the store, but no IDs. At the queue, however, I got Jeff's 6310i, which had been set to play a *really* loud ringing tone when it received a message, so he was really easy to spot!
Saw him in the trouser section, so I sent "New trousers?", and that was it! He was wondering round the whole shop looking in all directions, and I can still never work out what people like him are looking for! He was wearing a leather jacket, so I got "Nice leathers!" to him as well before we left... although I realised just outside the shop that if I'd added "Jeff" to the end it would have been even better! Oh well, something to remember next time!

On the bus this morning i found a T610, which i think belonged to the guy at the back listening to his personal CD player. I sent him ' Check your pictures ' with my attached picture bluejack:
I'm going to start sending more picture bluejacks from now on, as im starting to have some success with them. Later, i was in the Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre ( http://www.crystalpeakscentre.com ) when i sent the same picture bluejack to who i think was a woman in a fabrics shop, then to a phone that remained Unknown for the two messages i sent, including the BJQ.com URL. I also managed to get a couple of T610's with my signature bluejack but didnt manage to visually confirm any of my victims today, oh well.
I also found a 6310i in a supermarket on the way home, but didnt realise i'd found it until i checked my phones screen about 5 minutes after i commenced a search, oh well. A satisfactory bluejacking day, but not the best.

You bad girl Ellie !
Anyway back to topic.. Thursday 25th March 2004 - Sommerfields supermarket
I went to the supermarket after work to pick up some groceries, and to my suprise i found a T610 while i was in there. I sent it the BJQ.com URL and then couldnt send any more. Normally i find it hard to find any Bluetooth devices in supermarkets, especially in the area i live in - so i was quite suprised when i also found a 6310i. I sent ' www.bluejackQ.com ' to it and pricked my ears up. I then heard that monophonic ' message received ' tone come from the next aisle. I started giggling to myself, and after about 30 seconds i sent another ' Please come to managers office ' - and once again i heard the beeping. I walked round the corner onto the next aisle to see a middle aged man getting out a 6310i, looking rather puzzled at the message on his screen. I was about to take a picture but he turned around and looked at me so i hid my phone. His wife was also wondering what was going on too, as she had her eye on me, so i didnt manage to get a picture. Anyway, i then walked off and considered waiting for him outside to send another message, but i wanted to get home so i didnt bother. It happened less than an hour ago, and it was a giggle, so as soon as i got home i came straight on BJQ to tell people about it !

All day today i didnt find a single easy phone to bluejack, everyone i found was a damn manually accepting Nokia. Then as i was sat on the 52 bus going to Broomhill and saw a guy move to a seat when some people got off, so he could have 2 seats to himself. As he sat down i noticed he was carrying a house brick. Then i realised it wasnt really a piece of masonry, but was actually a Nokia 7650.
So i got up, and went to sit in the seat in front of him, so i could have 2 seats to myself. I expected to see Nokia 7650 to appear on my screen, and it did so. I sent him my picture bluejack, which he must have manually accepted straight away as it got through, and i could hear him mumbling to himself wondering how this strange message got on his screen and the picture got in his pictures folder. I even heard him say ' bluejacked ? ' under his breath. I then tried to send the BJQ.com URL but it wouldnt get through. Just as he was getting off i tried a last time and it got through !
It was so funny, i was sat right in front of him and could hear his puzzled mumbling in my ear. I hope he comes to the site !
