I've got myself an XDA2 (we call them i-Mate) and started Bluejacking for the greater good... Razz

Had about 6 "victims" in the last 24 hours commuting to and from work and on my lunch break in the Sydney area.

Can we possibly get an Oceania forum? Bluejacking is starting to catch on down here... Very Happy

im gettin a pda soon with BT and am gonna try bluejacking in perth, which might be a bit harder than sydney. im gonna get my mates into it with bt as well.

You should try jacking in country NSW - we're talking an almost complete bluetooth dead zone. Best action I've had so far is weekend visits to Sydney.

ACT is BJ heaven!

Any mall, anytime, you will get at least serveral contacts.

I'm in Dickson, just above all the cafes, with a class1 device on my laptop I enjoy BJ'ing patrons enjoying their coffee. Get at least 5 a day!

I found Brisbane to be rather dead, Sydney is good, but Canberra is better. (More of us here *Grins*)

Hi, im 17 in yr12 living in melbourne.
i recently discovered bluejacking from links on the web.
i have 2 sites up, one is for my bluejacking victims (http://ckn.8my.com)
and the other is personal web designs portfolio, okay anywaiz.
me and my gf both brought nokia 3200 .. real shockerz =_=
and she recently upgraded to se z600 which is what i first practiced bluejacking. i am planning to get one within 2 weeks as my gf gets veri frustrated whenever we are out and i feel the need Razz

todai i had my first real bluejack, one of which was quite scary because i turned to my left and there staring straight at me with no expression on his face was a middle aged angry man Sad

lol...i think the other one got to a 18 yr guy. either that or he just looks at ppl like that. i did this at melbourne central station..which is where all the bussiness men and women go to catch the train. so it was very difficult to find where the bluejacks went. its a bit dissapointing that not many people in melbourne are aware of this and i get the feeling they treat this as a virus or something. :S i am getting my mates into it and they enjoy it too. though there is still a long way to go. i know that a sman type program for z600 iz very unlikly but if something of the sort comes along.someone plz let me know (no matter how simple the program) i was also wondering if anyone has any tips for being discreet with 'flip' phones when bluejacking. as i feel like it would be easy for the 'victims' to spot me..i scanned some guys phone yesterday and he had this as his name ' rahjaa 043939473' lol i found that quite funni...maybe he should just send ppl his number if he wants to make more friends Razz

i would like to know your opinon of my whole idea about the url which i send to them when i bluejack so if they wish to follow up they are taken to my site which in turn is linked to this site. i would like to chat to any bluejackers, just to trade ideas and such....as in melbourne i think im the only one =_=

I'm not an Aussie - but welcome anyway!!! I hope that your bluejackees will find their way onto the forums to say hello to you. It doesn't happen very often - infact I think its only happened twice! But it would be great if you manage it!

Well done on the bluejacks - I'm sure you'll get many more!

Not many bluejackers have been bluejacked. I think despite all the media coverage a while ago it's still fairly unknown. It's also difficult to bluejack Series 60 devices like your NGage, because the contact has to be manually accepted.

Having arrived at this website last week, I did my first bit of BlueJacking in Sydney on Friday on the way up to College. Town Hall station delivered me three victims, all of whom got a "Good morning, you've been bluejacked, have a great day" message.

The bloke on the train with the Z600 was the funniest, he was sat right in front of me, and I had to look down at the floor for a couple of minutes trying to not to piss myself with laughter.

Saturday night was out clubbing, sent a random "Hello" to a Nokia 6230. Was talking to a chick later on in the evening, and when we introduced ouselves to each other, she grabbed me by the arm, and dragged me over to her mate, the owner of the 6230 i'd bluejacked.

Well, i've certainly found a way of making the daily commute less unpleasant. In fact it almost makes up for the trains being rubbish...

Im new to the whole bluejacking thing.. but having an unreal time doing it, even though my friends and my girl think I'm strange..

I was recently at the Australian International Motorshow in sydney, talk about blue jack city.. I couldn't believe how many bt enabled mobiles there were...
in 5 minutes, I'd jacked over 10 people... the biz card I sent had this URL on there.. Smile

My dad was at that show, he accidently tried sending me a pic though bluetooth and he said that 20 people turned up.

If you see someone called 'Unknown Device' in Sydney bluejack me, I would love that.
